Delete your TradePilot account
Last updated: 22 October 2026
1. Delete your account in the app
- Open the TradePilot app and sign in. On the web, sign in at app.tradepilot.work.
- Go to Settings, then Privacy, then Delete account. On the web, it is in your account settings or your customer portal settings.
- Confirm it's you, then type DELETE to confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out on every device. Anything kept for a business you owned alone is deleted within 30 days.
2. Or ask us to delete it
If you can't use the app, email [email protected] with the subject Account deletion request. Send it from the email address on your account if you can, and include your name and the business you use TradePilot with.
We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours before we delete it. We will complete your request, or tell you why we can't, within 30 days.
3. What is deleted
- Your name, email address, phone number and profile photo.
- Your password, your Google and Apple sign-in links, and two-step verification.
- Every signed-in session on every device. Sign in with Apple access is revoked.
- Your customer portal sign-in, if you had one.
4. What is kept, and why
- Work you did for a business. Jobs, quotes, invoices and notes you created belong to the business you worked for and stay in its account, shown as “Deleted user”. The business decides how long to keep them, for example to meet its tax record-keeping duties.
- Your details as a customer. If you are a customer of a business that uses TradePilot, your customer record stays with that business. To have it erased, ask the business, or send a privacy request from your customer portal.
- Our own billing records. If you paid TradePilot for a subscription, we keep our invoices and payment records for 6 years, as UK tax law requires.
- Backups. Deleted data stays in our encrypted backups until they roll over, within 12 months, and is not used.
- A security record. We keep a log entry showing that the account was deleted and when, so we can protect accounts and answer questions about the deletion.
5. If you own a business account
If you are the only owner of a business account, deleting your account also closes the business account: it is cancelled and its data is deleted within 30 days. Export its invoices and records first, under Settings, then Download your data, because a business has to keep its invoices for 6 years. If the business has another owner, it carries on and only your access is removed.
6. Data from Facebook or Instagram
If you connected a Facebook or Instagram account to our “TradePilot Automation” app, remove it in Facebook under Settings, then Business integrations. That stops any further access. Email us as above to delete data we have already received.
7. Questions
Our privacy policy explains how we use personal data and your rights. You can also email [email protected].
