Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 21 October 2026
About This Statement
This statement applies to:
- the TradePilot website at https://tradepilot.work
- the TradePilot web app at https://app.tradepilot.work, including the customer portal
It does not cover the TradePilot iOS and Android apps. We will publish a separate statement for them once we have tested them.
The website and app are run by TRADESMANEXPERT LTD. TradePilot is a trading name of TRADESMANEXPERT LTD (company number 16970808), registered in England and Wales. We want as many people as possible to be able to use them. For example, you should be able to:
- change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser or device settings, or switch between light and dark themes
- use the website and app on screens from 320 pixels wide upwards without scrolling sideways, which also means you can zoom in up to 400% on a typical laptop screen
- navigate most of the website and app using just a keyboard
- use most of the website and app with a screen reader, because pages have headings, labelled form fields and buttons, and text alternatives for images
Our automated checks test these things. We have not yet finished testing the website and app by hand with a keyboard, screen readers or speech recognition software.
We have also tried to make the text as simple as possible to understand.
How Accessible This Website and App Are
We know some parts are not yet fully accessible. Our automated checks of the website and app in October 2026 found these issues:
- Colour contrast on the website. In the dark theme, some blue text (footer headings and links, prices, an outline button and the current menu item) is too faint against the background. On the Privacy Policy and Terms pages, the page heading is hard to see in the dark theme, the “Last updated” date is faint, and links in the text look the same as the surrounding text. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criteria 1.4.3 (Contrast (Minimum)) and 1.4.1 (Use of Color). A fix is ready and goes live with our launch release.
- Colour contrast on the payment page. The small footer text on the invoice payment page (/pay) is too faint (WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.4.3). A fix is ready and goes live with our launch release.
- Delete buttons in the web app. In the light theme, the text on some red Delete buttons in confirmation dialogs is too faint (WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.4.3). A fix is ready and goes live with our launch release.
- The logo link in the web app. On wide screens, the TradePilot logo link at the top of the side menu has an accessible name that does not match its visible text, which can confuse speech recognition users (WCAG 2.2 success criterion 2.5.3, Label in Name). We plan to fix this by the end of November 2026.
- The video on the How It Works page. The embedded YouTube player contains markup from YouTube that fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 4.1.2 (Name, Role, Value). We cannot change YouTube's player. The same video can be watched on YouTube, and contact us if you need the information in it in another format.
Manual testing may find more. We will add anything it finds to this list.
Feedback and Contact Information
If you find a problem not listed on this page, or you need information in a different format (such as large print, an accessible PDF, or easy read), contact us:
- email: [email protected], with “Accessibility” in the subject line
Tell us the web address (URL) of the page, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser and any assistive technology you use. We will reply within 5 working days.
Reasonable Adjustments
TradePilot is a service provided by a private company. Under the Equality Act 2010, we must make reasonable adjustments so that disabled people are not put at a substantial disadvantage when using our service. If any part of TradePilot is hard for you to use because of a disability, contact us using the details above and tell us what would help. We will discuss options with you, such as help completing a task, information in another format, or another way to reach the same result.
If you run a business on TradePilot and one of your own customers has difficulty using a page you send them (for example, a quote, invoice or the customer portal), you or they can contact us and we will work with you to help.
Technical Information About This Website's and App's Accessibility
TRADESMANEXPERT LTD is committed to making its website and app accessible. As a private company we are not covered by the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018, but we follow the same standard voluntarily.
Compliance Status
Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard.
This website and app are partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA because of the issues listed in the section “How accessible this website and app are” above.
Content That Is Not Within the Scope of This Statement
This statement does not cover content that businesses using TradePilot create and upload themselves, such as their own documents, PDFs, photos and business websites. It also does not cover pages run by other companies that we send you to, such as Stripe's card payment page or Google's and Apple's sign-in pages.
What We Are Doing to Improve Accessibility
We test the website and app with automated checks (Playwright with axe accessibility testing) at screen widths of 320, 390, 768, 1024 and 1440 pixels, in light and dark themes, plus a check in Firefox. Our build checks are set to fail if automated accessibility violations are found. Automated tests cannot find every problem, so we will also test them by hand with a keyboard and screen readers, and we will add what we find to this statement.
We will update this statement as we fix issues.
